He graduated from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) in 1978, earning his M.B.Ch.B degree. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Midwifery from the College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (Dip. Mid. COG).

After practicing privately in Port Elizabeth (South Africa) for two years, Dr. Addleson relocated to Canada. He established and operated a private medical clinic in rural Saskatchewan for five years. During this time, he obtained both the Canadian Licentiate in Medicine from the College of Canada (LMCC) and the United States Federal Licensing Exam (FLEX). He is registered to practice in British Columbia, Canada, where he has worked in Vancouver and Victoria.

Passionate about providing patients with the best treatment approaches and health maintenance options available locally and internationally, Dr. Addleson educates them on the full range of facilities, options, and services. He was appointed as the Medical Director of HealthLink (Cleveland Clinic International) to develop relationships and affiliations with physicians in other jurisdictions.

Dr. Addleson's extensive clinical practice has exposed him to numerous international and local patients seeking comprehensive health evaluation, risk factor management, treatment, advice, and future health maintenance in a multidisciplinary approach.

He has held various positions, including serving as a Medical Officer at George Town Hospital (Grand Cayman) and Faith Hospital (Cayman Brac) from July 1989 to January 1990. Since February 1990, he has maintained a private family practice in George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

Dr. Addleson is licensed by the South African Medical and Dental Council, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (Canada), the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (Canada), and the Medical and Dental Council of the Cayman Islands. He has also been appointed to serve on the Health Practitioner’s Board and the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Society (CIMDS) as Vice President. Additionally, he is affiliated with ACAM (American College of Alternative Medicine) and A4M (American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine). In 2009, he was appointed to the Medical Advisory Board of The LifeStar Institute (Regenerative Medicine). He has presented multiple papers at international conferences.
